About Me

As a lifelong learner and a staunch advocate for the community and its youth. My journey in education and youth development began with a Bachelor's degree in Youth Development and further refined with a Master's degree in Educational Leadership. My ultimate goal is to empower students and help them recognize their self-worth while equipping them with the necessary skills for future success.
My career path started in summer camps, where I gained valuable experience in youth development and leadership. However, I soon realized that I wanted to make a year-round impact on students' lives. This realization led me to transition seamlessly into the field of education, where I've worn multiple hats, including teacher, coach, and administrator at both district and campus levels.
Throughout my diverse roles, I've acquired a wealth of experience and expertise, holding positions such as Dean of Students, Data Fellow, and Coordinator for Strategic Planning and Innovation. My commitment to innovation in education has earned me recognition as a pioneering educator. I've had the privilege of speaking at state-level conferences such as the TEKS Resource System and presenting at national professional development events hosted by Google and Nearpod.
Currently, I'm pursuing an Ed.D. in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University, while also serving as a campus-level administrator here for Rockport ISD. My journey as a learner and advocate for students is an ongoing one, as I continuously strive to enhance my skills and knowledge in education. My hope is to inspire personal growth not only in myself but also in those around me, encouraging everyone to become the best version of themselves.
